W<\/span>\n elcome to Caragh Bridge Angling Club’s website. (CBAC)<\/p>\n

The Caragh River is renowned as one of the world’s most beautiful rivers with many bus loads of tourists stopping daily to take pictures.<\/p>\n

The abundance of rivers, lakes and sea fishing within 10km radius makes the area an Anglers paradise.<\/p>\n

The Caragh Bridge Angling Club is based on the lower Caragh River stretching from Caragh Lake to the estuary. There are a number of pools on the river and the water always runs clear – even in high water.<\/p>\n

CBAC\u00a0was formed in 1998 when there was a danger of the river falling into private hands which would have prevented locals from accessing the river as they had done for generations.<\/p>\n

CBAC is very much a community club and is dedicated to maintaining the river for future generations of fishermen and women.<\/p>\n

Membership of CBAC is only \u20ac40 per year, which is outstanding value for such a great fishery.<\/p>\n
